Seventeen years of experience in Inspection, Testing and certification company in various roles. Three years working experience as laboratory project manager and sales in SGS Australia. Six years serviced as National laboratory manager in mineral department in SGS China. Set up numerous new laboratories including quality systems, staff training, equipment selection and installation. Implemented LEAN and 5S strategies for the SGS China Minerals team. Performed business audits for Mineral, OGC, Agri. in India, Malaysia, Indonesia as part of the cross-business system. Established first Mineral laboratory sales team and implemented “SMAP” in whole Mineral sales team. Six years of experience as a team supervisor in CIQ (China Inspection and Quarantine). Sound knowledge and skills related to the chemical industry, Inspection and surveying industries and logistics and management system.
DARRYL CARPENTERGENERAL MANAGER
Darryl was Customer Relations Manager for SGS Australia Pty Ltd. With over thirty five years of experience in laboratory operations for both mine-site and commercial laboratories, strategic planning, change management and budgeting skills. Sound working knowledge of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS); Proficient with Quality Control and Quality Assurance systems, experienced in managing customer expectations and relationships. Competent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
RICK PERCETECHNICAL MANAGER
Rick has been working in Mineral Laboratories since 1984. He has over 30 years ICP experience with the last 25 being in supervisory/operational roles. Over the years he has commissioned many makes and models of ICP. Rick spent many years as ICP-OES Manager at Ultra Trace Laboratories (now part of Bureau Veritas) before moving on to Intertek Genalysis as ICP Manager and Global Specialist. He was responsible for all work produced by the ICP / ICPMS Sections and would oversee /consult other sites within the Intertek Group e.g. Beijing, Johannesburg. Rick has always been much involved with QA/QC, Research & Method Development, digest techniques, staff management and production.
